Abyssinia Journal of Business and Social Sciences (AJBS) is newly established African journal publishing from Wollo University, Ethiopia. It is an international, peer-reviewed and an open access journal publishes two times per year. This journal publishes original research articles, short communications and occasionally review articles that generate the significant contribution in the field of business and social sciences. Its scope covers all aspects of Business, Economics and Social Sciences and other allied disciplines. To qualify for publication, a manuscript must contribute to the understanding of business and social sciences by presenting either new and original research data as a full research article or in short communication format or review of a particular topic related to business and social sciences.
Aims and scope
The Wollo University publishes Abyssinia Journal of Business and Social Sciences (AJBS) since December 2016. It is open access and peer-reviewed journal envisioned to publish in Business and Social Sciences, especially, research findings from Business and Economics, Law, Behavioral Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, language studies and Agricultural Economics. The journal is also open to education research works.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 4.0 International Public License, which permits others to use, distribute, and reproduce the work non-commercially, provided the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal are properly cited. Commercial reuse must be authorized by the copyright holder.

Manuscripts under peer review should be strictly confidential. Reviewers must not share manuscripts or discuss their content with anyone outside the peer review process. Reviewers may, on request, consult with colleagues from their research group trusting that the confidentiality of the manuscript is maintained. Reviewers should first contact Abyssinia Publishers or the Academic Editor handling the manuscript and note the name of the colleague(s) in the ‘Comments to the editor’ section of their report. Reviewers will be anonymous to the authors unless they choose to disclose their identity by signing the review report.

We appreciate applications to join our community of peer reviewers. Our Academic Editors select reviewers on a manuscript-by-manuscript basis.
